Hey Babes!
Spring has finally sprung, the weather is starting to warm up (depending on where you live.) That means it is time for brighter colors, dresses, cute shoes, and bright accessories. Lets talk trends for spring, that will be in style for years to come.
(Not your average t-shirt dress in Green.)
First up is t-shirt dresses, these are our recent obsession here at Urban Outlaw Boutique. T-shirt dresses are an easy outfit for any season. Wear them in spring and summer or use them as a layering piece during fall and winter.
When shopping for a t-shirt dress pick one with the style that you like. The two most popular styles are going to be over-sized or fitted.
The fitted style of t-shirt dress is the perfect style that is both casual and dressy at the same time. A perfect example of this is our Not your average t-shirt dress. This dress is fitted, yet still flattering and comfortable. The dress is crew neck style with a tulip hem-line and ruched detail on the side. Pair this dress with sandals and simple jewelry for a casual look. Or you can dress it up with a chunky statement necklace and some heels for a dressy going out look. Lastly you can make it super edgy with a leather jacket, combat boots and studded jewelry.
Fitted t-shirt dresses are a great introduction to start wearing more "bodycon" style dresses, meaning you get the fitted look that a bodycon would give yet it isn't as form fitting to the point where you would be self conscious. However, if that is not for you there are more over sized style t-shirt dresses.
The over-sized style t-shirt dresses will be flowy and not form fitting. These ones are great to pair with a belt and cute sandals or wedges for a simple cute look. Or for a more edgy look throw some biker shorts underneath and pair with some combat boots and studded jewelry.
Regardless of the type of t-shirt dress you go for, these will be a quick, stylish, and comfortable outfit for spring.
